Andy Murray has not started his season in the best possible way. The Briton doesn’t lack enthusiasm and his game is really good but he lacks a little something to be able to beat his rivalsor in any case to seal the matches quickly enough.
Murray had epic fights last year, narrowly lost and without any physical problem since his hip is holding up for the moment otherwise you just have to see his last match against the Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov, where he is doing very well played and sold his skin at a gold price.
A final season for Murray?
Sir Andy himself admitted that he would continue to play tennis for the moment but that this season could well be his last. Asked by Tennis365; the Gent Slam champion explained that he does not know if he will organize a tour or a farewell tournament because according to him he is not as popular as the tennis legends: ” I don’t know if I’ll do a farewell tour.
I understand that players like Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer and Serena Williams do it, they are adored and everyone wants to see them play one last time. I don’t think that will be the case for me.
If I announced a farewell tour, maybe people would bother to come see me one last time in Great Britain.” That’s Murray’s opinion, but we think quite the opposite because this player is the one of the greatest of the last two decades and without a doubt he will move more than just the British if he decides to do a farewell tour.
