OGC Nice has just formalized the arrival of Andy Delort in Christophe Galtier’s group. The 29-year-old Montpellier striker successfully passed his medical examination at midday and therefore joins the Aiglons. Born and trained in Sète, the goalscorer was in Montpellier since 2018. Also passed through Tours, Toulouse, Ajaccio or the Stade Malherbe de Caen, he will discover a new club.
According to L’Equipe, which announced a full agreement between the two clubs last night, the Algerian international has initialed a four-season contract. The amount of the transfer has not been communicated but is expected to be around ten million euros. In Nice, he will notably meet Youcef Atal and Hicham Boudaoui, his selection partners with whom he won the CAN 2019.
