“On June 9 is an excellent opportunity to denounce the arrogance and corruption of Mr. Mitsotakis”, pointed out Nikos Androulakis, speaking in Agrinio.
He asked all citizens to think about whether their daily life has improved in the 10 months that have passed since the national elections and the widespread trust they have shown in New Democracy. “It is therefore important to send a message of disapproval, but also a creative message by voting for a serious and reliable party in order to have a serious and reliable opposition after June 9, but also a strong government choice in the next national elections” added N. Androulakis.

“We are here to confront those who undermine the public interest and serve the domestic oligarchy to have a privileged relationship with the media. Because I heard the prime minister mention in an interview the other day, that we have freedom of the press, as long as everyone can express their opinion. So let’s say “thank you” to him, for allowing us to speak our mind. Yes, we can express our opinion, but in the channels, newspapers and websites we only read New Democracy’s propaganda” noted the president of PASOK-KINAL.
He harshly criticized the government for “the greatest accuracy in Europe. Mr. Mitsotakis managed to give Greece the “pan-European championship” of accuracy, as in March the growth rate of food inflation was more than four times higher than the average of the European Union.
He added that accuracy is not addressed because the government does not clash with the oligopolies in banks, food, energy, private health and thus the people pay for it.
He countered the government’s argument that any reduction in VAT on essential goods would not be shelved. “It is an admission that they are either incapable or unwilling to check the speculation of powerful financial interests. Do checks and impose fines, like in Spain, so that the VAT reduction is passed on to the price of the product,” he said characteristically.
Referring to the problems of the agricultural world, Mr. Androulakis emphatically pointed out: “Mr. Avgenakis cries for the failure of OPEKEPE and invokes the argument that Europe is to blame. Is it Europe’s fault that five administrators of OPEKEPE changed in five years, or the New Democracy? Is it Europe’s fault that you didn’t get the aid you should have?’
