Andromeda galaxy, the closest galaxy, is observed in the evening and appears as a hazy “smudge” of light

Observers in the sky of Egypt and the Arab world can this evening, and for several nights to come, use a constellation with the Chair (Cassiopeia) to locate the Andromeda Galaxy, as the Astronomical Society in Jeddah revealed in a report, that usually when observing a dark enough location, the Andromeda Galaxy can be seen in a picture. A hazy smudge of light without the use of monitors as the ancients did.

In the event that it is not possible to find the Andromeda galaxy with the naked eye alone due to light pollution, it is preferable to use binoculars and a star group with a chair (Cassiopeia).

At the present time, a Cassiopeia constellation with a chair is observed low towards the northeast horizon at the beginning of the night, and in the pre-dawn hours this star group is observed above the North Pole star and can be used so that an imaginary line is drawn from the head of the part that resembles (V) to determine Andromeda galaxy location as shown in the attached image.

The Andromeda Galaxy is the closest large spiral galaxy to our Milky Way, and contains hundreds of billions of stars, and once the galaxy is found through the naked eye or binoculars, then it is preferable to use the telescope to see more details of the Andromeda galaxy.
