CEO of the company Huawei, Yu Chengdong officially confirmed that HMS for Car is now available in the latest Mercedes-Benz S-Class. Users can view any application, read news, listen to music or podcasts, watch videos or play games on the car’s large OLED screen.

HMS for Car is a cloud service that has an application store. In addition, it is integrated directly into the Mercedes multimedia system and is also present intelligent voice assistant Huawei. Also interesting is the fact that applications running with HMS for Car do not require installation, which can be useful in some cases. This is a relatively interesting move on the part of Huawei, especially in China.
HMS for Car is currently only available in the latest Mercedes-Benz S-Class and is only activated in China. It is not clear at this time whether it will also appear in the European versions. However, the company said that this service will be available for other cars.
