Android apps on Windows 11 can communicate on local network after update – Computer – News

It’s kind of funny how Microsoft tries to integrate all other operating systems into Microsoft Windows.

On Linux you have WINE, I have no idea how far Android can run on Linux except for some Android emulators. ( Bit like VirtualBox or VMWare like principle like Android x86)

I do think Microsoft’s Windows is starting to look a bit like a Frankenstein Operating System.

Sewn together of bits and pieces, and see if it works, which sooner or later it will.

With Linux you also have a kind of Frankstein effect, for example if you install flatpack and you slowly convert Ubuntu to Redhat, which together form an operating system.

In the link below you can see what I also experienced with flatpack.

I foresee a similar scenario for Microsoft Windows, a Frankenstein Operating System.

For those unfamiliar with the word Frankenstein, here’s a link to Wikipedia. It is used for something that is gathered together, and sewn together, and then somehow works.

It is true that Microsoft Windows has always been the year of the desktop since the early 90s. And with Linux they always talk on forums about expectations that the year of Linux on the desktop will come.
