Just this morning we brought back one roadmap Samsung for updating to Android 11, according to which the S20 series should have been updated this same month, and now comes the confirmation from USA that the update to Android 11 has actually started, although for now only with the operator Verizon.
Along with Android 11 there will also be version 3.0 of the One UI, the Samsung interface that has been accompanying its smartphones for years and that in this new guise re-touches the graphics, in particular the notifications and various Samsung apps, from contacts, to the phone to the gallery. Among the functional innovations we have the double tap to turn off the screen, new filters for the camera, and various improvements to the photos, but not only.
The changelog it is not very helpful, but as soon as the update arrives in Italy we will certainly talk about it in more detail. If you spot it before we do, we kindly ask you to report it to us via the contact form.
Update03/12/2020
It comes directly from our Facebook group confirmation that the update to Android 11 for the Galaxy S20 family is already arrived in Italy. Specifically, it was pointed out to us by our reader Massimiliano, whom we thank, on Galaxy S20 Plus, but this means that the rollout has most likely already started for S20 ed S20 Ultra. If you have received the update as well, please let us know in the comments space. We have corrected the article title accordingly.
