It’s a Christmas day dedicated to software updates that of Xiaomi, Redmi e LITTLE BIT: owners of POCO F2 Pro, Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite 5G, Xiaomi Mi 9 Lite e Redmi Note 8 Pro they found new ones under the tree update to be discarded and for the first two the surprise is very interesting: there is Android 11.
POCO F2 Pro and Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite 5G: the news of the updates
Let’s start with the two most worthy updates: POCO F2 Pro e Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite 5G, two of the most successful smartphones of the year for value for money, embrace Android 11 and both already in Italy.
At the end of November we reported the roll out of the latest version of the green robot for POCO F2 Pro in global version and finally the turn of the European model: the notification of the update to the MIUI 12.2.3.0.RJKEUXM. The OTA package weighs a good 2.9 GB and, as can be seen from the screenshot below, introduces Android 11 and the security patch of December 2020.
Per Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite 5G the speech is in fact identical: the update to Android 11 had arrived for the global variant at the beginning of the month and now also reaches the European one. The new build, as shown in the screenshot, is the MIUI 12.1.2.0.RJIEUXM and is implemented by a 2.8 GB OTA package.

Xiaomi Mi 9 Lite and Redmi Note 8 Pro: the news of the updates

Arrived a little quietly on the market, Redmi Note 8 Pro has gained points over the months thanks to the simultaneous drop in price. In these hours the device is receiving in Italy the new update to MIUI V12.0.3.0.QGGEUXM, which introduces the security patches of november 2020 as part of a 380MB OTA file.
Xiaomi Mi 9 Lite it was extremely appreciated for its compactness and unfortunately it did not have a real heir. During the day, in our country, it began to receive a new update: the MIUI V12.0.5.0.QFCEUXM is implemented by a 557MB OTA package, which introduces an optimization for the Control Center in landscape mode and security patches of December 2020.

All the updates described are already available for download in Italy. If you own a POCO F2 Pro, Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite 5G, Xiaomi Mi 9 Lite O Redmi Note 8 Pro and you have not seen the relevant notification appear, you can carry out a manual check by entering Settings > System info >MIUI version.
