Head of the President’s Office Andriy Yermak advocated the deployment of US anti-aircraft missile systems in Ukraine Patriot.
According to him, this is necessary not only to protect Ukraine, but also the entire West. Yermak said this in an interview with an American magazine Timepublished on April 12th.
He noted that now the United States place the Patriot air defense system in the territory Poland.
“Ukraine is holding a defense against Russia not only for its own sake, but also for the sake of the West. And where the US Army is deploying its Patriot missiles. The nearest ones are in Poland.” They should be here“, – said Ermak.
The Patriot is an American anti-aircraft missile system in service with the US Army and the armies of allied countries.
As reported OBOZREVATEL earlier, President Volodymyr Zelensky said that Russia intimidates Ukraine and the West by transferring their troops to the border of our country. According to him, Moscow “raises the degree” on purpose.
