The ANDRITZ 360 ° wood chip storage and retrieval technology is a complete system with a radial configuration for the storage and retrieval of wood chips. The wood chip storage system works according to the FIFO method (first-in, first-out), which ensures an even supply of wood chips to the cooker and at the same time has a large storage capacity. ANDRITZ has several references for RST360 wood chip storage systems around the world.
The discharge rate of the RST360 is regulated automatically, whereby the speed of the two metering screws in the hopper is adapted to the capacity requirements of the pulp production. The discharge of the equalizing hopper is continuously monitored by means of a belt scale. In addition to these functions, the RST360 is equipped with a special diversion so that wood chips from the wood chip feed can be fed directly into the discharge hopper.
