Actor Andris Bērzins participates in the opening concert of the second international theater and film music festival “Pearl of the Sea” in the Dzintari concert hall, dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Riga Film Studio.

The popular actor visited the “When they meet” studio Andris Berzins. Aware of the inconvenience he brings to his homeland, Bērzins claims that he is ready to live a long life, which may cause inconvenience to our country.
During the conversation, the legendary actor admits that it will be a big burden on the state’s financial system, laughing that the pension will have to be paid for a long time.
“I am very embarrassed for this country because I intend to live a very long time, they will have to pay me a pension. This is my revenge on the country!”
Although there has been a lot of hype surrounding Mr. Bērziņš recently regarding his relationship with his daughter and his statements in the media space, at the end of the program he reveals his formula for longevity.
“You have to be honest with yourself. Don’t pretend to be better. [..] I think hypocrisy is a very bad thing. In order to live longer, one must give up greed, lust for power, lies and hypocrisy. All that remains is honest sex and the singular pleasure of eating.”
