According to the sociologist Andrey Raichev, the formations in the parliament are interested in forming a regular government after the elections on October 27, since the right to appoint official cabinets will return to President Rumen Radev.

By the end of the year, they will spend the so-called a home book for an acting prime minister, predicts Andrey Raichev, arguing with the upcoming replacement of two constitutional judges from Radev’s quota in November, which will lead to a change in the majority in the Constitutional Court.

“If this happens, they will more likely have to form a regular government if they think about their future, because there is no way according to the house book they can appoint our person, because we elected them,” Raichev said in an interview with BNR.

“It is more likely to become a coalition agreement because they see that the president is coming back. They understand very well that the potential presidential party is standing and waiting,” he pointed out.

The sociologist’s prediction is that it is more likely that after the 7th early elections there will be a regular government, however, new elections are also possible, but with a changed Constitution, i.e. “with Radev’s official prime ministers”.

“Now it will be a completely different election. It is very tense, everything is much more embittered, the people are really grumbling, not in their entirety, but in their upper part – the most educated, the most mobile, the most sensitive. There is a feeling that something very bad is happening in the country”, Andrey Raichev also revealed.

According to the sociologist, the expected low voter turnout will make the “political minutiae” significant, which will play a huge role, and if 4 million people go to vote, “nothing like that will happen.”

People can be driven to vote en masse by “the feeling that their republic is threatened and something is about to change without controlling it,” the sociologist summed up.
