New raids have been carried out by Romanian police forces at the home of influencer Andrew Tate, as part of an investigation into sex trafficking and pedophilia.
The Office of Organized Crime (DIICOT) announced that four search warrants were executed in relation to “formation of a criminal organization, trafficking of minors, sexual relations with a minor” and “money laundering”.
He and his brother Tristan were taken from their home in Bucharest to the offices of the Romanian organized crime agency for questioning.

Prosecutors accuse Tate, 37, his 36-year-old brother and two women of running a criminal organization and sexually exploiting several victims. The defendants deny the charges, and a trial date has not yet been set.
The Briton, a former kickboxer, is extremely popular on social media, where he is mainly followed by (young) men. His account was deactivated last year by Facebook and Instagram, by then having 4.7 million followers.
