In less than two weeks, the British will gather for a party. On 6 May, it is finally ready for King Charles’ (74) coronation day. Leading up to this party day, there has been a lot of speculation about who will appear, and who received an invitation.
Can’t sit with the family
The biggest question marks were probably linked to the king’s youngest son, Prince Harry (38), and his family.
Earlier this month, it was announced that the prince will be present, but that Duchess Meghan will stay at home with children Archie (3) and Lilibet (1).
A slightly more surprising guest who will find the finstas and celebrate the new monarch is Andrew Parker Bowles (83). It could The Sunday Times report.
Bowles was married to Queen Camilla (75) for 22 years, before they separated in 1995. Both remarried again, the former to Rosemary Pitman in 1996, and Camilla to Charles in 2005.
– Will be a nightmare
But despite the fact that almost 30 years have passed since the divorce, and new marriages have blossomed, the ex-couple have maintained their good friendship.
– They are inseparable. He fixes so much for her. They eat lunch together all the time. He is always there. He was always, and still is, Camilla’s co-conspirator, says a friend of the former married couple.
– Everyone loves Andrew. He is a real charmer, but he always behaves terribly badly. Andrew calls her and tells her when she does something wrong, and she tells him when he misbehaves. Even through adversity, they have maintained a very good family relationship. It comes in handy considering their joint children and grandchildren, says a close friend of the queen.
The shock broke the friendship
And now the ex-husband has been invited to the coronation, where both Charles and Camilla will be officially crowned king and queen of Great Britain.
The Queen and Bowles have children Laura Lopes (45) and Tom Parker (48) Bowles together. They will also be present during the ceremony, together with their families.
