Jakarta – Actor Andrew Andika was arrested by the West Jakarta Metro Police Narcotics Unit for two days after he was caught in a case of methamphetamine abuse.
Not alone, Andrew Andika was arrested together with five of his friends in the areas of Bogor and South Jakarta.
Currently, they are all still being held at the West Jakarta Metro Police and are in good health.
“The public figure, with the initials AA, is currently at the West Jakarta Metro Police with his friends in good health,” said Jakarta Metro Police Narcotics Investigation Unit Chief, AKBP Chandra Mata Rohansyah, on Saturday (28/9/ 2024).
During the arrest, police said everyone was cooperative.
“Everyone is cooperative,” said AKBP Chandra Mata Rohansyah.
Apart from Andrew Andika who is a public figure, there are also influencers who have been arrested for similar cases.
“There are 5 friends, 3 men and 2 women and some of them also influence,” explained AKBP Chandra Mata Rohansyah.
The police are still investigating the case of drug abuse regarding the cause and where the evidence was found in the form of methamphetamine.
“This time we only have to say, we will do a deep investigation, later we will provide more complete information when it is released,” he concluded.
