Very soon, the artist will celebrate his 61st birthday.
Glory fell on Andrei Sokolov after the release of the painting “Little Vera”. It was he who played the role of Sergei, the beloved of the main character, becoming the most popular actor in the country and a sex symbol.
For many years, fans haunted Sokolov. The public actively discussed his personal life, attributing novels with Marina Vlady, Vera Sotnikova and even Patricia Kaas.
The artist himself at that time continued to act and studied new professions. Immediately after “Faith” he took part in the musical fairy tale “One, two – grief is not a problem!” and “Dark nights in the city of Sochi”. Later, he trained as a director and staged, for example, the painting “Artifact”.
Sokolov continues to act today, but it is already difficult to recognize in him the same Sergei who conquered Vera. The artist has been struggling with excess weight for a long time, and there is not a trace left of his curly hair. As fans note, even the artist’s gaze has faded over time, and he has turned into a completely different person.
