Andrea Pirlo sure himself will survive as allenatore Juventus Next season. However, he left all decisions to club management.
Despite failing to defend the scudetto, Pirlo managed to bring Juventus to complete another important task, namely qualifying for the Champions League next season.
Regardless of the condition of Juventus who escaped with the ‘help’ of Hellas Verona who held Napoli to a draw, Pirlo was still able to end the season with a trophy. The Italian Super Cup and Coppa Italia were successful in his debut as a coach.
Therefore, Pirlo felt he had not failed terribly this season. With what he achieved, this 42-year-old coach is confident Juventus will continue to wear it next season, according to his contract which ends in June 2022.
“For me, it is important to be able to do a good job, which is to win the Coppa Italia and qualify for the Champions League. The rest is up to those who have the right to decide. I am committed, and this is the final result,” Pirlo told Sky Sport Italia.
Pirlo admits that his first stint as a coach was not easy. Many obstacles stood in the way, including the pre-season that was too short. He also scored himself 6 out of 10.

“There are many difficulties, starting from COVID-19, the absence of the players, until the busy schedule. Studying theory at Coverciano (coaching course location in Italy) is clearly not the same (training on the field), “continued Pirlo.
“I am straightforward to the players, I thank them for their presence. After developing and gaining experience over the past year, I want to start again (next season),” hoped Pirlo.
Even so, the rumors circulating about Pirlo’s removal also got tight. There is news that Zinedine Zidane is being targeted by the Bianconeri as the new coach. Related to this, Pirlo on the one hand, he is sure he will continue, but he also resigns to being replaced.
