There is a new face in the editorial staff of Open Studio, the Italia 1 news program directed by Andrea Pucci: on Monday 14 September it made its debut at the conduction, in the edition of 18.30, Andrea Giambruno. Born in 1981, Giambruno – for some years the companion of the leader of Fratelli D’Italia Giorgia Meloni (and father of little Ginevra, born in 2016 from their relationship) – has been working at Mediaset for 12 years, as a journalist and author: in his curriculum, besides at Tgcom24, there are programs such as Matrix, Mattino 5 and Stasera Italia.

Love at first sight in Quinta Colonna
Just behind the scenes of one of the broadcaster’s programs, Quinta Colonna, he met what would become his life partner. It was love at first sight – she told in an interview with Libero – One evening she arrived from Del Debbio, in Quinta Colonna, after a day of rallies and she was hungry. Her spokesperson pulled a banana out of her bag, but after two bites Giorgia was called on the scene. So he dropped it in my hand, mistaking me for an assistant. When asked about their relationship, he said he was not bothered by the fact that he was often associated with her: I don’t mind being associated with Giorgia, for I have my personality and my work and I never asked her for anything.
