“The artist’s fans will find it easiest to get to the National Stadium by taking the metro. The Fast Urban Railway and the Mazowieckie Railways also stop near the stadium grounds, and trams and buses run across the Poniatowski Bridge,” the capital city hall reported.

Before the concert, access to Saska Kępa will be restricted

Until 8 p.m., the areas between: Poniatowskiego Avenue, Washington Avenue, Międzynarodowa Street, Stanów Zjednoczonych Avenue and Wał Miedzeszyński Street, as well as Stanów Zjednoczonych Avenue, Afrykańska Street and Bora-Komorowskiego Street will be closed to individual traffic. The bans will not apply to vehicles of people with SK identifiers, taxis, two-wheelers and public transport buses.

“Depending on the current situation, the police may decide to close individual streets,” the city hall noted. After the event, at around 9:45 p.m., the police may decide to close the Poniatowski Bridge and Al. Jerozolimskie, on the section from the Washington roundabout to the de Gaulle roundabout, to traffic.

Changes in public transport

In the event of the closure of the crossing, trams and buses will be redirected to detour routes. Lines 7 and 9 on the city centre side will reach Starynkiewicza Square. On the Praga side, the “seven” will go to Wiatraczna Roundabout and the “nine” to the Ratuszowa-ZOO loop. Line 22 trams on the left bank of the Vistula will go from Banacha to Starynkiewicza Square, while on the other side of the river they will run in a loop from and to Wiatraczna Roundabout.

In the event of a tram outage on Aleje Jerozolimskie and on the Poniatowski Bridge, a replacement line Z-9 will be launched. Buses will run between Wiatraczna Roundabout and Zawiszy Square via the Łazienkowski Bridge.

“After the show ends, additional buses of lines 138 and 509 will be on the route. From the Washington roundabout (from stops 03 and 04 respectively) you will be able to take them towards Bokserska, Gocław and Winnica” – informed the Public Transport Authority.

There will also be more trams. On the changed route from the Gocławek loop through the Washington roundabout, Zieleniecka, Targowa, Ratuszowa, Jagiellońska avenues to the Ratuszowa-Zoo loop, passengers will be transported by additional trams of line 9. In turn, line 26 trains from Zieleniecka avenue will go towards Metro Młociny.
