Andrea Aninat | Break through on Instagram and bring sport closer to people: “They say influencers are frivolous”

“The other time I participated in a Teletón campaign and it was the coolest thing I’ve ever experienced, I took advantage of this social showcase for it. They say influencers are more frivolous and I don’t want that to be the case, but I do want to offer things that add value.” The sentence is from Andrea Aninatone of the Chilean influencers who has recorded the greatest growth in recent years.

Aninat is a physical education teacher, athletics coach and her favorite social network is Instagram, where she has her account @telorecomiendocl add more than 100 thousand followers. There she shares advice from different fields, from tips for solving household problems, other foods and most importantly, exercise routines. “I’ve always liked sports, it was a lot to go to the gym. In the pandemic, also due to a maternity problem and having to stay at home, I made this page of recommendations and, without wanting to, it began to take flight “emphasizes in dialogue with As.

“All of these tips are tested and approved by me so I have a lot of credibility in this one, it’s a super organic page. They are my tastes. Eventually it got so big that it gave me the chance to drop out of school and fully dedicate myself to it. At first it was very simple and I didn’t appear, until I decided to go out to give it a face and it went well. People hooked. Today I upload a story every morning, because I train at 5:30, so I do it after,” he adds.

– Who is your page for?

– I’m older, I’m over 40, I’m a mom, so my audience goes more that way and identifies with it. My idea is to demonstrate that age doesn’t matter, that if you want you can do it, as long as you have the motivation to move.

– When did your passion for sport start?

– Since school days, but I think I was an athlete all my life, no more. I don’t remember exactly when I started or if anyone influenced me. I’ve had two careers before, coaching track and I wanted to do that, not be a teacher. But now, for example, I see my students go to interschool and I watch them all the time, I watch their videos, I like it.

– How did you deal with your new status on social networks and the multiple comments you receive?

– I don’t think I’m “famous”, although many people annoy me with that (laughs). For me, life goes on just the same. I grew up on Instagram just working, I gave it my all and I love it. And yes, I like being recognized, heard, it makes me feel good. The bad vibes comments to my account almost do not arrive, because it is a recommendation only account, so if you like it, take it and, if not, pass.

– Now you also have a podcast called El Lado i, what is it about?

– With my partner we are super different and that’s why we have fun. The podcast came about because a lot of people are interested in knowing what’s behind these influencer accounts, it’s more related to the hood, something like that. Ultimately, an influencer can be anyone with a community that believes them. I feel that there we can also help people who have something to say but don’t know how to communicate it or work with it.

– Any advice for someone who is just starting out in the sport?

– Whether they do it yes or yes for a matter of health, energy. The physical is something that comes later. That’s not the most important thing, because if you just focus on that and progress you end up going crazy. The important thing is consistency and discipline. You always can, even if it’s 15 minutes a day to stay active, the schedule doesn’t matter. And today there are many possibilities, from going to the gym, to zooming, to YouTube videos… The idea is to motivate yourself and do it for personal satisfaction.
