André-sur-Vieux-Jonc – Football club Veyle Vieux Jonc opens a U15 section at the start of the school year

As everywhere, the requirements related to the Covid have complicated the management of the club.

With the need to constantly adapt according to the evolution of the health crisis, the Football club Veyle Vieux Jonc (FCVVJ) has managed to succeed by maintaining training as much as possible. Admittedly, the meetings were prohibited early, but most of the time, the trainings could be maintained by all the educators, sometimes by changing the date and time. The most difficult thing was to deal with everyone’s work schedules, while respecting the curfew schedule. Not being able to meet the other teams is quite difficult for our competitors, and it is difficult to keep the players motivated. The annual retrospective of each educator for the category which concerns him made it possible to underline the progress of the various teams of the club. The maintenance of the sessions certainly played its role in achieving this result. The spring was marked by the departure of Pierre Mauron, who was coming to the end of his engagement, after having agreed to extend it for a year to try to achieve his goal with the seniors of the FCVVJ.

The president mentioned the plan to create a U15 team at the start of the school year. The project is in the process of materializing, contacts have been made and future players have already come to test some training sessions.

The accounts are healthy, few expenses have been incurred this year. A reduction of € 10 on re-registrations for the next season is provided for in the event of renewal before: 09/30 for U7 and U9, 09/15 for U11 and U13, 08/15 for U15 and seniors, 08/31 for veterans. Registration will no longer be possible after Sunday 31 October. Discovery sessions are planned in September for young U7s.
