André Lehmann becomes the new councilor

André Lehmann (SP) will replace his party colleague Ruedi Zimmermann in the Stettlen municipal council from the beginning of the year.

Ruedi Zimmermann, SP councilor in Stettlen for more than 13 years, announced his resignation in June.

André Lehmann (SP) will be his successor. Lehmann has lived in Stettlen for 17 years. He had already run for the local council in 2019. Since the SP did not win the seat they wanted and Ruedi Zimmermann was re-elected, Lehmann missed the election.

Since only one candidacy was submitted for Zimmermann’s successor, Lehmann was declared silent by the local council. He will take up his office as a local councilor on January 1, 2022. The department will be allocated later this year, according to the commune.
