Shortly before singer André Hazes (27) broke up with his fiancé Monique (43), he had a tattoo for her on his neck. In ink he had the date on which he proposed to her immortalized: 12.12. That writes the Dutch weekly magazine Privé.

According to that weekly, he only had the tattoo, about four centimeters in diameter, placed in February, just before their vacation to Bonaire. Not long after, it became known that Hazes was breaking up with Monique, the mother of their four-year-old son. Definitely this time, or so it sounded on both sides. The couple also broke up not long before and André Hazes found love with Bridget Maasland, but eventually asked Monique to marry 12 December last year.
During that previous break, André Hazes had his earlier tattoo lasered away for Monique. Although he then denied that it was because of the fracture, but because he thought the print was too “heavy”.
