André Hazes is working on a new album, he shares on Instagram on Saturday. The singer says he feels freer than ever before and can be more himself than before.
“What happens every time in the studio cannot be described in words. For the first time in my life I don’t hear a voice in my head trying to tell me that the song that is being made should also be something that my father should have been able to sing,” writes the 28-year-old singer with a photo from the recording studio.
According to Hazes, he therefore “neglected” the idea of what he really wanted to make. “It’s a risk, but it feels damn good and free. We are now five songs further and we have received approval to make an entire album,” says the grateful singer.
“Every studio session is a blessing, boys. Thank you for letting me be myself and making these absurd songs come out!”
