entertainment">“As a person I have grown a lot lately. Of course I’m still only 26. I’m not there yet ”, he says. “When I see what I have in me now, this is the best I can give. I am no longer the loser, I leave the drink alone, I am really a father for the first time. I’m really there. ”

entertainment">To have the life experience he gained with his relationship problems over the past year André also made a better musician. He put everything he experienced into his music. “These are really serious things we write about now. If I had written this last year, everyone would have said: ‘how can you have a say in this now’. But of course I have really experienced it now. ”

entertainment">His father, André Hazes senior, had given him a twist to let it come to that, André thinks. “But musically it is Hazes. Maybe he’d even been a little jealous of some of the songs. ”

entertainment">When André was in the studio, that feeling really came up. “I thought: this is right, and it is really as Hazes should be. So I’m musically back where I belong ”, says André, who thinks that his father would have been proud of him. The album Thuis will be released on September 18th.
