André Hazes and Monique Westenberg have said goodbye to the “bad things” from the past year. The couple did this by writing them down and “burning them”, Westenberg writes on Instagram.
“2023 was a very nice year for us and I am grateful for that. But of course there are always bad things,” Westenberg writes with a photo of a fire.
“This afternoon Dré and I wrote down on a piece of paper and burned the things from the past year that we found stupid, irritating, sad and energy-consuming.”
Westenberg leaves it open as to what matters are involved. By burning the memories, the couple wants to “put things behind them and not take them with them to 2024”.
