The Andratx City Council will approve this Thursday, in the next ordinary plenary session, free education for the entire 0-3 year phase starting in November.
In this way, the 88 students from 0 to 2 years will be able to enjoy the same free conditions that apply to those from 2 to 3 in all the Islands from 9:00 to 13:00.
The Municipality will bear the full cost, which will mean a saving of 1,200 euros per child for families.
In this regard, the mayor of Andratx, Estefanía Gonzalvo, explained that “Andratx is the pioneer municipality in the implementation of conciliation measures in capital letters” and recalled that “we already guarantee that our students aged 2 to 3 do not have to do the accounts with installments for the month of September “.
“It is a courageous measure that puts an end to the inequalities imposed by guaranteeing only free access to children between the ages of 2 and 3, we could not agree,” he added.
