Resano, married with two children, was a reference in Navarrese handball due to his involvement, including a period as a coach and technician, with the handball school and the Maristas youth team. Later, he faced another ambitious project and was the promoter of the resurgence of the Antonian team, leading together with the former player Mikel Idoate the Creation of CD San Antonio who in 2017 formed a team in First National to try to revive the historic Pamplona team. “There is a link between the club and Pamplona since 1956 and it was a shame to lose it,” commented Resano –architect of sponsor support such as Jacar, Distriplac or Lodisna-, who acknowledged that the idea had received the support of many people. Within that same blue and white project, together with the men’s team, he also promoted and supported the creation of a female ensemble.
