Commander of the Indonesian Armed Forces, General Andika Perkasa angry with his subordinates who were caught playing cellphones during online meetings.
In the video footage that was spread, it can be seen Andika summoning the Head of Staff of the Merauke Korem (Kasrem) 174/ATW Colonel Arh Hamim Tohari. He rebuked the figure of the middle officer harshly.
“Mas Hamim, look at me. This is Mas Hamim, right, in Merauke?” Andika said in the video as quoted CNNIndonesia.com, Friday (3/12).
“You don’t have to look WL,” said Andika added.
The former commander of Jokowi’s Paspampres also said that he did not often speak. Therefore, he asked his men not to focus on his cellphone.
Andika then asked Hamim to immediately shift the cellphone that was caught being used during the meeting.
“Mas Hamim, WL slide!” Andika said with a rising voice.
“Ready, soon,” answered Hamim.
Andika then asked that the cellphone be moved away from the table where Hamim was attending the online meeting.
“To the left, far away,” Andika said after hearing Hamim’s answer.
Andika’s face looks furious. He corrected his sitting position once after reprimanding Hamim.
The four-star general, who has just served as TNI Commander, also asked Hamim to repeat what he had said.
“Try again, what did I just say?” asked Andika.
However, Hamim was silent and did not repeat what Andika said in the meeting. He was again reprimanded by the former Army Chief of Staff.
“Mas Hamim, repeat!” Andika said.
“Ready … Ready, Father,” answered Hamim.
Andika then alluded to the XVII/Cenderawasih Military Commander Major General Ignatius Yogo Triyono and Merauke’s 174th Danrem Brigadier General Bangun Nawoko.
“See that, mas Yogo see. Mas wake up, look Mas Bangun. That’s him, mas wake up his men. That’s the quality,” said Andika.
