Andi Widjajanto will reportedly resign from his position as Governor of the National Resilience Institute (Lemhannas) after being included in the National Winning Team (TPN) for presidential candidate Ganjar Pranowo in 2024 presidential election.
“I heard that. Still waiting for confirmation from the Governor of Lemhannas,” said Presidential Special Staff Coordinator Ari Dwipayana via short message, Monday (16/10).
Ari emphasized that he was still waiting for confirmation from Andi regarding this news. If the news is true, he said that later Andi would convey it directly to Minister of State Secretary (Mensesneg) Pratikno. However, he did not specify when Andi would meet Pratikno regarding this plan.
“The Governor of Lemhannas will convey it directly to the Minister of State Secretary. Please confirm directly to the Governor of Lemhannas,” said Ari.
Separately, the Deputy Chair of TPN Ganjar, Andika Perkasa, admitted that he did not know the news regarding the information that Andi would resign as Governor of Lemhannas.
“Wow, I haven’t monitored it yet,” said Andika.
CNNIndonesia.com attempted to contact Andi Widjajanto regarding the news of his resignation as Governor of Lemhannas. However, the person concerned had not responded until this news was published.
Previously, Andi was officially announced as Political Deputy 5.0 of TPN Ganjar Pranowo for the 2024 Presidential Election. Chairman of TPN Ganjar Pranowo, Arsjad Rasjid, said Andi was appointed because he was considered to have credibility and professional experience.
Andi has confirmed that his involvement in TPN Ganjar Pranowo did not violate the law. He has been officially announced as Political Deputy 5.0 TPN Ganjar.
“Regarding my position as Political Deputy 5.0, I will ensure that my position here is in accordance with the provisions of the law,” said Andi at the High End Building, Kebon Sirih, Central Jakarta, Wednesday (11/10).
