During several transfer windows, Malmö FF have been linked with Saman Ghoddos, 30, who is currently without a club after leaving English Premier League side Brentford.
On Monday, MFF sports manager Daniel Andersson says there will be no common future in the near future.
– We are always in contact with Saman, but he does not feel that he wants to play for Malmö FF, not now, certainly not now. I know it’s a case where a lot of people want us to take it home, but if you don’t want to, you don’t want to. He does not feel that Saman Ghoddos wants to play in Malmö FF at the moment, says the sports director in the Football Channel’s date day broadcast.

– Not everyone wants to play in Malmö FF. I don’t understand it, but that’s how it is. We have a lot of good players and we are going strong. Currently Saman Ghoddos is not interested in playing for Malmö FF.
In recent years Ghoddos has played with Brentford and Amiens abroad. He is known for six goals and eight assists in 108 games with Brentford. In Sweden, he is best known for his time in Östersunds FK.
