Andalusian Health Service (SAS) Manager Announces Walk-In Vaccination Points for Flu and Covid-19 in Malaga

The manager of the Andalusian Health Service (SAS), Valle Garcíaannounced this last week that every Thursday until the end of the campaign there will be walk-in vaccination points against flu and Covid-19 for target groups of adults and for children’s flu vaccination in the case of minors aged between six months and four years and eleven months (59 months).

The SAS manager sent a message tranquillity to the Andalusian citizens, because although “it is true that there is an uptick in respiratory virus rates, it is common every year at this Christmas time.” Furthermore, he clarified that the latest data on the incidence of respiratory infections in Andalusia indicate that “the upward trend continues, being in 500 cases per 100,000 inhabitantsa rate similar to last year at this time and half of the Spanish average”, which exceeds 1,000.
