The Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport participates in IMEX America and World Routes 2022, two professional fairs that will take place in the next few days in Las Vegas (USA), focusing respectively on MICE tourism and air connectivity.
In the case of IMEX America, it will take place from 11 to 13 October and is consolidated as the leading incentive and meeting tourism fair in the United States, aimed exclusively at professionals in the international MICE sector.
In its latest edition, it brought together more than 8,600 professionals who held more than 50,000 appointments during the days of the event.
Tourism of Andalusia will have several working tables within the Turespaña exhibitor, where business meetings will be held in which a representation of the Convention Bureaux of the Costa del Sol, Malaga, Granada and Seville will also participate.
In these days there will be at least 26 appointments with heads of institutions, companies and organizers of congresses and corporate events from the United States, Mexico, Chile, Argentina, Colombia, Brazil, India, United Kingdom, Egypt, Switzerland or Saudi Arabia, including the others, other markets of origin.
From 6 to 18 October, however, the Ministry participates in the trade fair specialized in aerial connectivity World Routes America 2022, of a professional nature and in which the Board intends to establish contacts with international companies to facilitate connections between the Andalusian destination and various issuing countries.
The Public Agency for the Management of Tourism and Sport in Andalusia (EPGTDA), has set up five working groups together with Turespaña, AENA, provincial and municipal councils with airports in the network of State Airports in which strategies are defined to promote the ” opening of short, medium or long-haul lines or upgrading existing ones from the main passenger broadcasters.
To this end, at least 30 business meetings will be held between the various Connectivity Tables and numerous international airlines such as American Airlines, United, Delta, British Airways, JetBlue, Air Canada, Air Transat, WizzAir or Asiana, among others.

Although both are international fairs, in which contacts will be maintained with intermediaries and companies from various continents, recovering and increasing the tourist flow of the North American broadcaster is another of the objectives of their participation.
