Andalusia, Euskadi and Galicia record new infections in recent hours | Economy

The Covid-19 pandemic does not give truce. In the last hours, the autonomous communities of Andalusia, Euskadi and Galicia have registered a new record of new infections by the virus with 5.622, 1,502 and 775 cases. In fact, as a measure to slow its spread, almost 90% of Spaniards will pass the Todos los Santos bridge confined to their autonomous communities.

Andalusia

Estremadura

The autonomous community of Extremadura has registered in the last 24 hours 547 positive cases of Covid-19 confirmed and four deceased, which raises the total number since the beginning of the pandemic to 732 fatalities.

By health area, Badajoz reports 91 confirmed cases and has 72 hospitalized patients, 11 of them in ICU. Cáceres registers 85 positive cases and has 52 admitted patients, of which five are in the ICU. For its part, the Mérida Health Area registers 129 confirmed cases, Don Benito-Villanueva de la Serena 101, Plasencia 45, Navalmoral de la Mata 8 cases and Llerena-Zafra 84.

Galicia

Covid-19 infections detected in the last 24 hours in Galicia have once again reached a new record, with 755. Of all the sanitary areas, that of Vigo has shot up to 215, also the highest figure of the entire pandemic, with 30 more than the previous day.

According to the updated data on the website of the Department of Health on the morning of this Saturday, the infections detected have also risen significantly in the health areas of A Coruña-Cee, (+13); in Lugo-A Mariña-Monforte, (+69); and in Ourense-Verín-O Barco de Valdeorras, (+37).

Basque Country

Euskadi has once again set a new record of daily coronavirus infections, with 1,502 diagnosed, and the rate of positives has risen to 8.9%. The rest of the positives (15%) are distributed by other areas of Navarra.
