The Covid-19 pandemic does not give truce. In the last hours, the autonomous communities of Andalusia, Euskadi and Galicia have registered a new record of new infections by the virus with 5.622, 1,502 and 775 cases. In fact, as a measure to slow its spread, almost 90% of Spaniards will pass the Todos los Santos bridge confined to their autonomous communities.
The Ministry of Health notified 25,595 new cases this Friday of Covid, 9,723 in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of infections since the beginning of the pandemic amount to 1,185,678, and that of deceased to 35,878. Despite the fact that during the weekend Health does not provide data updates, some autonomous communities do report them. According to the latest updates this Saturday, this is how the number of infections has advanced in the last hours, in the CC AA that have provided new information:
Andalusia
The Andalusian autonomous community has registered a new record of cases this Saturday, October 31 of coronavirus in 24 hours by adding 5,622 positives confirmed by tests PCR and antigen test, third consecutive day above 5,000 cases. Equally, counts 54 deaths in 24 hours, la plus figure high deaths in the second wave of Covid-19, of which more than half have been produced in Seville.
Andalusian hospitals register a new day of increase in its healthcare pressure with 2,562 patients admitted for Covid-19, 91 more in 24 hours and 613 more than a week ago, while the number of admitted to an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) rises to 340, 15 more than this Friday and 114 more than seven days ago.
Aragon
Aragon has reported of which 1,264 new cases have been detected of coronavirus in the autonomous community. By provinces, 898 in Zaragoza, 280 in Huesca and 75 in Teruel have been counted. Likewise, there are eleven cases in which it has not been possible to identify the province of origin, as indicated by thea General Directorate of Public Health of the Aragonese Government.
Baleares
The Ministry of Health of the Balearic Islands has reported this Saturday that a total of 218 positive CRPs have been registered in the last 24 hours, one more than this Friday, and the positivity rate stands at 6.43%. At the moment, the Health Service is treating 3,082 people for the coronavirus. There are 152 patients admitted to the ward (five more than this Friday) and 49 active ICUs (one less than yesterday). In addition, 23 hospital discharges and 161 cured in Primary Care have been registered.
Canary Islands
The Ministry of Health of the Government of the Canary Islands has notified this Saturday 103 new cases of Covid-19 although no deaths from the virus. By islands, Gran Canaria has added 20 cases; Tenerife, 79; Lanzarote, 2 and Fuerteventura, 3.
La Palma has two fewer cases due to statistical error adjustment with compared to the previous day and El Hierro has not added new cases in the last hours.
Canarias remains in a Cumulative Incidence (AI) at 7 days of 32.55 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, while the AI at 14 days was stands at 74.63 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.
Castile and Leon
Castilla y León has registered 2,183 new infections this Saturday, according to data provided by the Ministry of Health. The statistics also account for 22 deaths in hospitals and the total in this area is 2,860 deaths. In total, 90,204 positives have already been diagnosed in the community by Covid-19 since the pandemic began.
By provinces Valladolid is the one with the most new positives (501), followed by León (414), Burgos (with 379), Salamanca (286), Ávila (197), Zamora (164), Palencia (151), Segovia (55 ) and Soria (36).
Catalonia
In the last hours, Catalonia has registered 6,212 new cases and 16 more deaths, while the index of potential growth or risk of regrowth (EPG) has reached 904, although the speed of reproduction of the disease has decreased again, from 1.29 from yesterday to 1.26 today.
According to the latest data reported by the Department of Health, patients admitted to hospitals has fallen to 2,411, 23 less than yesterday, although those admitted to ICUs have increased to 463, 16 more than yesterday. The cumulative incidence of cases in the last 14 days is 748.24 per 100,000 inhabitants.
Estremadura
The autonomous community of Extremadura has registered in the last 24 hours 547 positive cases of Covid-19 confirmed and four deceased, which raises the total number since the beginning of the pandemic to 732 fatalities.
By health area, Badajoz reports 91 confirmed cases and has 72 hospitalized patients, 11 of them in ICU. Cáceres registers 85 positive cases and has 52 admitted patients, of which five are in the ICU. For its part, the Mérida Health Area registers 129 confirmed cases, Don Benito-Villanueva de la Serena 101, Plasencia 45, Navalmoral de la Mata 8 cases and Llerena-Zafra 84.
Galicia
Covid-19 infections detected in the last 24 hours in Galicia have once again reached a new record, with 755. Of all the sanitary areas, that of Vigo has shot up to 215, also the highest figure of the entire pandemic, with 30 more than the previous day.
According to the updated data on the website of the Department of Health on the morning of this Saturday, the infections detected have also risen significantly in the health areas of A Coruña-Cee, (+13); in Lugo-A Mariña-Monforte, (+69); and in Ourense-Verín-O Barco de Valdeorras, (+37).
After these, the daily incidence of the coronavirus in the areas of Santiago-Barbanza, with 84 new infections (-31), Ferrol, with 64 (-35), and Pontevedra-O Salnés, with 53 (-23), which are also the least affected according to the data for this Saturday.
Basque Country
Euskadi has once again set a new record of daily coronavirus infections, with 1,502 diagnosed, and the rate of positives has risen to 8.9%. The Department of Health reported this Saturday that a total of 16,847 diagnostic tests were carried out in the Basque Country yesterday, between PCR and antigens, 610 more than the previous day, of which 1,502 were positive, 177 more.
By territories, Bizkaia has added 688 new positives, 83 more than in the previous balance, while Gipuzkoa accumulated another 596, 26 more, and Álava 203, 63 more. In addition, 15 positive people have been counted from other communities.
The Rioja
La Rioja has increased its active cases by 70 people in the last 24 hours, going from 1,711 cases yesterday to 1,781 this Saturday. For its part, hospital pressure has dropped by 17 people and, to date Today, there are 130 people admitted to different centers in the region.
Murcia
The Region of Murcia has registered 903 new cases and 11 new deaths from Covid in the last 24 hours. The total number of people affected by Covid-19 in the Region of Murcia since the beginning of the pandemic stands at 37,504 cases, of which 35,798 have been accredited by PCR or antigen tests, and 1,706 through antibody tests.
Navarra
Navarra has detected 580 new positive cases of infection by Covid-19, according to the latest data provided by the Institute of Public Health and Laboral de Navarra (ISPLN). By zones, in Pamplona and Comarca 60% of the positives are registered, the Tudela area has 21%, and 4% of the cases belong to Estella. The rest of the positives (15%) are distributed by other areas of Navarra.
