The Grenoblois were invited this year to designate the most welcoming chalet and the most welcoming shop in the Grenoble Christmas market (Isère). And this Monday, December 20, the prizes were awarded by Maxence Alloto, assistant for shops, crafts, local economy and local vitality of the City of Grenoble, and Emmanuel Lenoir, new president of the association of traders City Label.
Launched on November 26, the Christmas market this year had around 70 chalets and barnums, and brought together in one place, on Place Victor-Hugo, the traditional Christmas market and the social and solidarity economy market.
The general public was invited to vote, via a ballot box installed near Father Christmas’s chalet, for their favorite installation, until Sunday, December 19. A hundred people cast their votes.
The restaurant L’Escalier and the boutique La Boîte à Mignonneries awarded
“Without you, the Christmas market would not exist! », Underlined Maxence Alloto to the address of the traders gathered for the price reductions under the chalet of Per’Gras. The price of most welcoming chalet has been attributed to L’Escalier, gourmet restaurant located on Place Lavalette run by Alexandre Aymard, and which had a stand at the Grenoble Christmas market for the first time.
