I have never considered myself a politician, but regardless of how I perceive myself, I am the chairman of a political party. And as such, I have never allowed myself to make political speeches on national holidays, or on days when we honor national sanctuaries. It’s just gross and gross. Yesterday, however, some politicians allowed themselves to make political speeches, talk about how many votes they will get in the upcoming elections and sow division. Division of “good” and “bad” Bulgarians. And they allowed it right on the day of honor to the Apostle, who unites us all.
This is what the leader of “There is such a people” Slavi Trifonov wrote on his Facebook profile on the occasion of the launch of the election campaign of “We continue the change” and “Democratic Bulgaria” with an event in front of the National Theater in Sofia on February 19, when the whole of Bulgaria indulged in the commemorative ceremonies in memory of Vasil Levski.
