Apple has officially announced when it will introduce the new iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro. One of the most anticipated technological events will take place September 9 at 19:00 CET. The keynote will most likely take place in the same format as in the last few years. This will again be a hybrid event, with Apple inviting a handful of select journalists directly to its headquarters in Cupertino, while the rest of the planet can enjoy a largely pre-recorded keynote.
This year’s event has the subtitle “It’s Glowtime“, which can be loosely translated as “It’s time to shine“. The graphic of the invitation with the Apple logo in gradient shades typical of the Apple Intelligence platform corresponds directly to this. From this, it can be fairly easily deduced that the keynote associated with the launch of the new iPhones and Apple Watch will be in the spirit of functions connected to artificial intelligence.
What can we expect from Apple on September 9?
And what can we look forward to on Monday, September 9? The main star of the evening will undoubtedly be the iPhone 16 (Plus) and iPhone 16 Pro (Max) model series. Both novelties are supposed to boast A18 chips, larger displays and, of course, a better camera & camera, which will push the limits to the next level. In the case of the iPhone 16 Pro (Max), the implementation of a dedicated camera trigger is also expected, which should also support touch gestures (article here).
In addition to the iPhone 16, we will also talk about the Apple Watch Series 10. In the case of watches, we should expect the launch of new variants with a 45mm and 49mm case. Other equipment is expected to include a thinner design, a more powerful chipset and new health functions and sensors. The Apple Watch Ultra 3 with more powerful hardware is also likely to be shown.
