A mysterious monolith was seen in a park in San Francisco on Friday morning, and as a matter of fact, it was on the Christmas theme.

A passerby discovered the structure on a trail in Corona Heights Park. It was built entirely of … gingerbread!

The man also surprised a reckless gourmand leaving his “mark” there in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.

“The gingerbread monolith is so real. I even watched someone lick it and then started to say a prayer for it. On that note, happy monolith! ”Wrote Josh Ackerman on his Twitter account, attaching some pictures of the unusual object.

Indeed, this new monolith was actually a giant holiday cookie. Several colored cubes adorned the structure, the sides of which were frosted with sugar.

The tower was inspired by the mysterious metal monoliths that made headlines when they appeared all over the world. From Utah to Romania, then to Montreal.

Metal structures quickly became the subject of much speculation online and caused the crowds to run wild.

As was the case in several places across the globe, the lifespan of the monolith was short in the Quebec metropolis. A new publication from Saturday morning shows that the City of Montreal has removed the sculpture, which was firmly anchored in the concrete of the sidewalk.
