and-Bake | Shifting. A new track for cyclists on the Poincaré bridge

From Tuesday 3 to Friday 6 November, the services of the Metropolis will set up a reserved bus-bike lane on the Poincaré bridge in the North-South direction. A lane will be neutralized to set up this bus / bike corridor between Saint-Clair and Le Transbordeur, thus making it possible to reach in particular the Parc de la Tête d’Or and the campus of Doua from Croix-Rousse or Caluire.

Vehicles coming from the flyover and the ring road of the ring road must give way to buses and cycles circulating on this corridor. Marking work will be done at night. The following week and always during the night, the services will proceed to the removal of the concrete elements located on the west sidewalk in order to facilitate the free passage of pedestrians.

A first step before the treatment of the Saint-Clair sector

A first step in the development of the Saint-Clair sector in Caluire-et-Cuire and between the Poincaré Bridge and the Stalingrad Boulevard in order to secure this area for all users as the Metropolis had committed to at the end of September. The Saint-Clair sector and Boulevard Stalingrad will be dealt with in a second step.
