And again. Trains in Orlickoústecko drove against each other, 300 meters from the collision

The incident took place after seven o’clock in the morning in Jablonné nad Orlicí. “There was an illegal ride of one of the trains behind a signal prohibiting driving and it got to the already occupied track by another passenger train,” Martin Drápal, a spokesman for the Railway Inspectorate, told the News.

According to him, the train that passed the signal went from Králiky to Ústí nad Orlicí, the second one went from Ústí to Moravský Karlov. According to the first information, the trains stopped about 300 meters apart.

“The incident was avoided without injury, we will know later if there was any damage, for example on the switch,” Drápal added. According to the zdopravy.cz server, both trains belonged to Leo Express Tenders.

The reasons for the illegal driving will now be investigated by Railway Inspector inspectors. In most cases, however, it is the driver’s fault.

In recent weeks, this is the number one event on the Czech Railways. The train driver died in a train crash near Český Brod, and two passengers in an accident near Pernink.
