Former Pailladin Jonathan Tinhan recently announced the end of his career. He came back to different parts of it with the media, Le Petit Reporter Foot. And especially on his goal scored in Dijon, the year of the title:
“Very important. It is a goal that I do not forget and that the supporters of Montpellier still send me sometimes. It’s a goal that counted in this historic season, that of the title, so obviously it’s a goal that I will not forget. In addition, it is my only goal in Ligue 1 so it is striking and it served for the title so what more could you ask for. “
He also evokes more generally this exceptional season of 2011/2012:
“For me it’s a great memory, in a confirmed Ligue 1 club. I was coming out of two seasons in Grenoble where we were last in Ligue 1 and last in Ligue 2. And suddenly I am champion of France in Montpellier. It’s a bit of a leap. After that, I had a lot of injuries that season and it was my first season away from home so it was a fresh start. But I have fond memories of it even though sportingly I haven’t played much. There was the league title and then the Champions League the following season. ”
In 2016, we had the chance to interview the player. He was then playing in Amiens, to rediscover by clicking here.
