Ancelotti.. the fourth coach to lead the most matches for Real Madrid

Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti of Italy has equaled Dutchman Leo Beenhacker’s record as the fourth manager to have led the most games for Real Madrid in their history.
After the confrontation in Valladolid, which ended in real victory with a clear brace signed by the Frenchman Karim Benzema, the total number of games that Ancelotti has played with Real Madrid has reached 197, equaling with Benhacker and surpassed only by the Spaniard Vicente del Bosque (246 matches), Frenchman Zinedine Zidane (263) and Spanish Miguel Muñoz (605).

In his 197 matches for Real Madrid in the two periods in which he coached the team, the first from 2013 to 2015 and the second from 2021 to the present, Ancelotti has recorded 145 wins and 25 draws, while suffering 27 defeats.

Ancelotti was crowned with Real Madrid with eight titles, namely the European Champions League twice, the European Super Cup twice, the championship once, the Copa del Rey once, the Spanish Super Cup once and the Club World Cup once.
