Ancelotti Leaks Real Madrid Formation in Champions League Final!

Madrid

Carlo Ancelotti leak the formation that will be used Real Madrid in the final Liga Champions. Don Carlo’s 4-3-3 formation will be used against Liverpool.

Real Madrid will compete in the Champions League final against Liverpool at the Stade de France, Saturday (29/5/2022) early morning WIB. El Real is aiming for the 14th title in the most prestigious event among European clubs.

Carlo Ancelotti’s troops are also ambitious to match the Big Ear trophy with the LaLiga title this season. Madrid have already sealed the Spanish League title when the competition still has four games remaining.

Don Carlo was able to bring Madrid to excel this season with his flagship 4-3-3 formation. However, the formation was so fluid during the match.

When Madrid need to appear more attacking, Ancelotti will play Rodrygo on the right side. Meanwhile, the balance sought, Madrid will play with Federico Valverde.

Valverde could then shift into an additional midfielder until Madrid played with a 4-4-2. Karim Benzema and Vinicius are at the forefront.

Carlo Ancelotti revealed that this way of playing is likely to be played again by Madrid in the Champions League final. However, he insists it all depends on how Liverpool attack.

This is like what Madrid developed when they managed to get rid of Manchester City in the semifinal second leg. Ancelotti pushed more forward Luka Modric in order to press Rodri in the position of defensive midfielder for The Citizens.

“We will play 4-3-3 and then we can move on to 4-4-2. There is no fixed system. To put pressure on defensive midfielders, we did it against City. We started with 4-3-3 and then I put Modric to aim for Rodri and we went 4-4-1-1,” Ancelotti said of the formation in the Champions League final, quoted from Madrid’s official website.

The idea doesn’t change much but it depends a bit on how we defend and on the opponent how we want to defend against them.”
