Madrid –
Trainer Real Madrid, Carlo Ancelotti, confirms that can not prohibit Gareth Bale not to strengthen the Welsh national team for a while.
Bale has been sidelined since last September with a muscle injury. So far, he has made just three La Liga appearances and missed the next 12 games in LaLiga and the Champions League.
His condition is now improving despite spending more time in the gym. The Wales national team then called Bale to defend the country in mid-November.
Everyone in Madrid can’t stop Bale from rejecting a call-up to the Wales national team. Ancelotti also insisted that he was not Bale’s father who could forbid.
“He will go to Wales and they will assess whether Bale is fit or not. It depends on how the players train there. Bale is fine and it is clear that it is very important to feel the right training after two months out and whether he feels confident. It happened. on the players when they come back,” Ancelotti was quoted as saying by Real Madrid’s official website.
“I’m not his father. Some fans may not be happy with Bale, but that’s probably because things haven’t been going well lately. Last season he was on loan at Tottenham, but nobody should forget what he did here.”
“If a player is called up by the national team, we have an obligation to let them go and inform about current conditions, such as the fact that he has been given permission or has trained for two days with the team.”
“They will play next Saturday and will have time to assess his condition. I don’t think Wales or the players will risk playing if they are not fit,” Ancelotti confirmed.
Real Madrid host Rayo Vallecano this weekend in LaLiga. Bale is certainly not included in the Los Blancos squad.
