Carlo Ancelotti, coach of Real Madrid, assured, after eliminating Manchester City in the penalty shootout, that he will sleep well and drink a beer.
The Madrid coach said in the preview that City did not keep him up at night and that it would only keep him up if he ate a lot at night.
With City already eliminated and in the Etihad mixed zone, after not attending a press conference, the Italian coach continued with the joke.
“I’m going to sleep well, I’m going to drink a beer,” said Ancelotti, who recalled that Madrid seemed to be out of the tie before going through on penalties.
