Jakarta –
Convicted in the Hambalang project corruption case and former chairman of the Democratic Party, Anas Urbaningrum will open up about the case that ensnared him after his release. Democrats declined to comment further on this matter.
“We don’t want to comment further. Because this is a legal event, the channel and the choice of method must be relevant,” Kamhar told reporters, Wednesday (1/3/2023).
Kamhar assessed that the community was already intelligent in responding to an incident. Especially when associated with forms of politicization.
“However, if it is left for politics or as a form of politicizing legal events, we believe that people will be smarter,” he said.
Previously it was reported that Anas Urbaningrum’s admission that he would open up about the case that ensnared him was revealed by the Ketum of the Nusantara Awakening Party (PKN) I Gede Pasek. Pasek also confirmed that Anas would join his party after being released.
“Yes, he will be with us and he will open up all sides of what happened so that people understand that what happened yesterday was not as holy as imagined,” said Pasek at the KPK ACLC building, Tuesday (28/2/2023).
Pasek said Anas would reveal the black history of the KPK. He then alluded to the KPK which was not independent at that time.
“It will also be opened, not just a leaked sprink which was a problem with the black history of the KPK at that time. It was a leaked sprink, then from a leak from a power node, it was language that was not independent at that time and there were other cases,” he said Pasek.
“This is an example of the PK decision stating that Mas Anas was not proven to be in the Harrier car while being made a suspect in the Harrier car. The suspect continued to be developed, then Hambalang was continued to be developed, finally East Kalimantan was also not proven in a corruption criminal verdict,” he continued.
