The Tunisian tennis star qualified Anas Jaber To the second round of the Australian Open tennis tournament, after its victory this afternoon, Tuesday, over the Slovenian Tamara Zidancikranked (98) in the world, with a score of two sets to one, and by (7-6, 4-6, 6-1).
The match lasted two hours and 19 minutes, and it was difficult for the Arab champion, as Anas found great problems in the first set, which alone lasted an hour and 9 minutes, due to the strong presence of the Slovenian, before Anas won 7-6.
In the second set, Zidancic won (6-3), despite Anas’ attempts to return to the score. In the third group, the Tunisian star regained her full physical and technical readiness, and easily defeated (6-1), to settle her first match in the tournament.
In the second round, Anas will face the winner of the American match, Allison Amritage, ranked 49th in the world, and Czech Marketa Vondrousova, ranked 86th in the world, in order to advance in the tournament, which represents one of Anas’ most prominent goals this year.
