Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo for medium.com indicated that he has little cause for optimism in the case of new iPhone deliveries. For now, it is primarily about this year, when Apple has reportedly already moved to reduce orders for semiconductor components by 15%. According to Kuo, this means for Apple a reduction in total new phone shipments by 10% at best, and up to 15% at worst compared to 2023. This applies not only to the current iPhone 15 series, but also to the upcoming iPhone 16.

Looking into the future, Kuo sees no hope that Apple will bring major innovations by 2025. Of course, this will probably bring another possible reduction in deliveries, and a possible boost is in play only at the end of next year with the iPhone 17 series. This year, we can probably expect only partial changes that will not be largely related to the appearance or fundamental innovations in the field of hardware or software.
