[법률저널=이상연 기자] On July 1, 2023, despite the scorching heat, the test takers went ‘all-in’ and sweated in the practice of the 5th K-PSAT in the legal journal. With the first heatwave warning issued this year, the examinees focused on practice practice exams to prepare for the 7th grade and 5th and 7th grade civil police recruitment for national positions and the 7th grade public recruitment for the Presidential Security Service.

This 5th K-PSAT was conducted about 20 days before the main test, and was evaluated as having a lower overall level of difficulty compared to the last round. The test takers predicted that the difficulty level of the first period language logic increased compared to the last 4th period, but the level of situation judgment was lowered and the first period grade would rise. On the other hand, the difficulty level of data interpretation in the second period was similar to last year.

Looking at the actual provisional scoring results, the average score of verbal logic was 75.6 points, which was 3 points lower than the last 4th (78.6 points), and it was analyzed that the difficulty level had risen. On the other hand, the average score of the situation judgment was 64.5 points, which was more than 10 points higher than the last 4th (53.7 points), and was found to be relatively passable. In addition, the average score of the data interpretation was 67.4 points, the same as the last round, and it was found that the level of difficulty was maintained.

On this day, test takers consistently showed a positive response to the test.
