It shows once again that statistics alone don’t say everything. Auer had completely unbelievable bad passes within a few meters that were actually direct passes for the opponent in order to convert subsequent numerical superiority actions into goals. If you offer this against a storm, it will make a huge noise.
I’m actually a fan of Auer, but at the moment he’s pretty out of character and therefore a source of uncertainty for the whole team.
Kazanwirjo didn’t really have a good day either. But he didn’t have such hair-raising goats with him. He has also been playing rock solid for a few games and is now an asset. Auer is usually one of those, but he’s currently having a lot of trouble. He doesn’t do much offensively either, although his baseline runs and crosses were his greatest strengths. Hopefully it will be back soon…
